Crucial Conversations: Do You Know What to Say When the Stakes are High?

By January 26, 2018June 22nd, 2023No Comments

Whenever you’re not getting the results you’re looking for, it’s likely a crucial conversation is keeping you stuck. Whether it’s a problem with poor quality, slow time-to-market, declining customer satisfaction, or a strained relationship – whatever the issue – if you can’t talk honestly with nearly anybody about almost anything, you can expect poor results.

Entrepreneur’s Exchange is offering you the opportunity to learn what to say and how to say it on Thursday, March 28, 2013.  Paul McMurray with Insight Management Consulting will share the skills for creating alignment and agreement by fostering open dialogue around high-stakes, emotional, or risky topics – at all levels of your organization.  The seminar will be held at M&T Bank, 170 Jennifer Road, Suite 300, Annapolis, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM.  A light breakfast will be provided, and advance registration is recommended.

Crucial Conversations is typically offered as a two-day course that teaches participants how to speak and be heard (and encourage others to do the same) in order to surface the best ideas, make the highest-quality decisions, and act on your decisions with unity and commitment. Skills gained through Crucial Conversations include the ability to:

  •     Speak persuasively, not abrasively
  •     Foster teamwork and better decision making
  •     Build acceptance rather than resistance
  •     Resolve individual and group disagreements

Fortune 500 organizations around the world have turned to the award-winning Crucial Conversations Training to improve bottom-line results like quality, efficiency, satisfaction, safety, etc.  You have the opportunity next week to take advantage of this training!  Visit www.eebiz.org to register.
